Honouring excellence in music and cultural heritage

The Calgary Crescendo Choir Society launched its first Annual Scholarship Program for high school students in Calgary and vicinity. We celebrate the joy of choral singing while promoting the beauty of the Italian language and preserving Italy’s rich musical traditions. Through performance, education and collaboration, we aim to create meaningful connections across cultures. The Scholarship is in the amount of $2,500 to be awarded to the successful candidate at our Annual Spring Concert held in June at The Calgary Italian Cultural Centre.

Part 2: High School Transcripts

All marks submitted must be certified by your counsellor. Marks that must be included are:

A myPass high school transcript, including grade 10, 11 and 12 results
Any additional grades not found on you myPass transcript
Grade 12 second semester midterm marks

Describe how your Italian culture, your involvement in music or the arts, and your volunteer or community service experiences have influenced your life. Explain how you plan to contribute to your community in the future, and describe how this scholarship

Part 4: Reference Letter

Submit one (1) reference letter on letterhead from a teacher or school staff member.
